Denise Sutherland, our Corporate Communications & Administration Manager, is responsible for this function and is supported by teams of administration staff who ensure an efficient and effective administration service is provided.
This function provides administration, secretarial, clerical and reception assistance to effectively support the activities of the Service in meeting its targets and objectives.
Support is provided by teams of administration staff located in Inverness, based in our Headquarters and Seafield Road buildings, as well as administration staff located in 11 District offices throughout the Service area. Examples of their areas of responsibility include:
- Providing clerical and administration support across the Service and maintaining an ongoing and critical appraisal of all administration systems and procedures to improve the administration efficiency of our Service.
- Managing and co-ordinating our obligation under the Freedom of Information, Environmental and Data Protection legislation as well as providing advice on the application of the legislation.
- Managing and producing our quarterly newsletter which is a key and popular two-way communication tool within our Service.
- Co-ordination and production of the Service Improvement Plan, Quarterly Performance Reports, and Public Performance Report.
