The Finance function, is lead by Lisa Kiew, Finance Manager, who is supported by teams of staff to help manage our Service annual budget of approximately £25m by providing effective financial monitoring of our Revenue and Capital budgets, and efficient running of our payroll system. 

Examples of the team's areas of responsibility include:
 
  • Ensuring budgets are forecast, set and managed effectively.  The control of budgets in an emergency service is always a challenge, but even more so, given the large number of part-time personnel.

     

  • Running the Service payroll, this involves processing weekly timesheets for 1200 retained personnel. 

     

  • Ordering and payment of goods and services ensuring all invoices are correctly authorised and allocated to the appropriate budget.
